0. phoneArena 14 Mar 2012, 08:25 posted on

Apple just distributed an official press release that it will indeed open up shop early on Friday for the new iPad. At 8am, those souls who have been sitting in front of an Apple Store since the weekend, braving heat, rain and Samsung actors mockery, will be rewarded with first dibs on the high-res Apple tablet...

Well, I plan on heading over to Bestbuy or Frys and pick up 1 on Friday morning to take it for a test drive. I have never owned or purchased an Apple product so I am curious to check it out.

Well I cant wait to find out. I have been waiting around for the Acer Iconia A700 but I think I am going to try something different this time around. If I like it, I keep it. If not, it goes back to the store and I continue waiting for the A700 or I will just buy a Transformer Prime.

its definitely a different user experience...

i was a solid android user until this past november when i purchased the ipad 2.

i was very impressed even though losing certain functions from android along with customization and SD card file sharing...

you can tell apple took great care in creating it. especially how solid the OS is along with the quality of applications... mostly everything around you is integrated with iOS and thats what makes it first class to me. not saying it blows android out of the water... but i found myself not needing all those functions after awhile.

i hope you enjoy it... its a great tablet... it swayed me to buy an iphone 4S last month...lol they sync together beautifully...

David Attenborough quote:

"Sheep naturally tend to flock together in herds, its instinctive and part of their nature, here we see a heard of sheep which have positioned themselves in a q like fashion for days at the door of the apple store, here they will stay till mother nature provides them with the ipad nourishment they will need if they are to survive the coming season"

Hopefully, after this friday or a week after, phonearena.com will get off the ass of the iPad3 and come back to what really matters: Phones. More specifically, Verizon phones.

God you are SUCH an iDiot. How is being under contract preventing you from getting an ipad 2.00000001 (otherwise known as the "new" ipad)?

Maybe he does not want to pay full retail for a 4G iPad or maybe he does not want to break his contract. That would prevent him from getting one no? I mean, why do you have to insult him and act like an a$$ bro?
