Apple Store hauled offline ahead of iPhone 7 launch

As is tradition in the moments leading up to an iPhone launch event, Apple has taken most of its official website offline. Over the next hour or so, the site will be updated behind the scenes to include the new products set to be announced by Cupertino. Needless to say, if you were looking to make any purchases through the online store, you'll have to wait until after the announcements.

From a mobile perspective, we're expecting Apple to introduce the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, along with a second-generation Apple Watch. There could also be a refresh to the iPad line-up, and perhaps even one more thing..

We've got play-by-play coverage in our liveblog, where you can join in the conversation on all of the announcements as they break. If you'd like to tune into the livestream, meanwhile, we've got all of those details covered right here

Are you ready for the new iPhone?
