Apple Store app chimes in on cue and heads right into the App Store
Yesterday we reported on how a rumored Apple.com app was in the pipelines to provide a mobile friendly experience of the web site and would be ready to launch today. Everything pretty much fell into place as the Apple Store app chimed in right on cue as it is currently available for download in the App Store. For anyone who spends plenty of time on Apple's web site perusing the thousands of products available from the Cupertino based company, they should be content with the translated experience that's offered to both the iPhone and iPad owner. Users will essentially be able to do just about anything they can do through the site normally – such window shopping through their products, read reviews, find local Apple Stores, make reservations for the Genius Bar, and even pre-order some hot products. We're sure that some people will find the app quite useful as it would naturally make the experience a bit more streamlined while others can kill even more time on gadgets they're hopeful in scooping in the near future. However, it's worth noting that the app looks to be open to the US for right now, but hopefully it'll get trickled down to other countries.
