thats to u.. to others might want all the apps the ipad gives, and the bigger screen. i sincerely hope apple sticks with its quality products though and doesnt start making cheap tablets and cheap phones…

Exactly. Cook isn't going to speak positively about competitors at a conference. The fact that he talked about it at all says something about the Kindle Fire making waves in the tablet market.

Uhm iLAWLERSKATES? What *Besides the obvious physical differences, and os* does the ipad offer that the Kindle Fire doesn't? What is it that the Kindle Fire can't do that the ipad can? Can you justify the price difference in a way that make legitmate sense?

I have not once said that they are exactly the same, I asked a question and gave my personal answer. Clearly the point of my original post was that the differences between the two do not warrant the differences in price. Your statement is of no value to anyone.

Hey sunshine, everyone got different need. A lot of people would prefer paying for tablet with functions that they could actually USE, rather than "Oh look at me I got **** load of perks on my devices that I probably will never use, and I'm paying top dollars for it" tablet.

You have no reading comprehension don't you? Clearly, the guy I'm responding to claiming the iPad at $500 would be a better buy just because it has more perks than the Kindle Fire.

All I said is certain people would prefer certain device without a long list of specs, just to surf the web and reading books. So why the hell would you want to pay the extra that you don't need?

Even if specs matter, Android would offer better specs and even better pricing.

In conclusion for Android:
. You get more for what you paid, OR
. You paid for what you need

Because on an iPad you CAN'T change your Operating system, that's why. Oh and guess what - on the kindle fire - you can! So all these software related idiotic claims you made - are absolute bull. Your iPad CAN'T EVEN PLAY MP3 FILES DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEB FFS.
