App of the year Prisma gets social features and doubles the resolution in latest update

When Prisma launched earlier this year, it became an instant mobile sensation that saturated social media with colorful, picture-like selfies for quite some time. Using an artificial neural network to turn your mundane photos into colorful works of art, Prisma caught on quickly and was recently honored as app of the year by both Google and Apple, which is no small feat to achieve!

However, despite its huge popularity and success, Prisma hasn't had any baked-in social features to speak of until now, and instead let you share your creations on other social media. This all changes in the latest update for Prisma, which turns the app into more of a self-contained sharing platform, akin to VSCO, another popular photo editing app for mobile devices. Of course, you still have all standard options for sharing your photos via social media, but now you can also create your own Prisma account and check out and vote for other people's creations via the new Feed screen.
