'Android people' don't have to jailbreak their phones (when available) to customize their phones....

Your point?

well as much as this app customizes iOS, they're trying to copy multitask menu and notification toggle from android

Great video! Really outstanding! It provides yet more EVIDENCE that....

1- The iPhone is not used one handed. Tell us again why the ip5 is shaped like a remote.

2-The iPhone cannot multitask.

3- IOS could be improved; it was not written by God and has serious room for improvement.

Too funny. Of course iPhone users don't absorb facts so it will all escape them.

I don't recall anybody asking for your "facts" to absorb in the first place.

1. I use my iPhone 1 handed 95% of the time. The only time I don't is when I am typing so I am not sure if you have actually had an iPhone before. Try using a one x one handed-- it's a bitch. And I like the look of my iPhone thank you very much

2. The iPhone CANNOT fully multitask, but I am happy. I like having it just save where I am and not waste battery keeping random apps open. I hated having to manage my apps on android. I know it's simple but it annoyed me and with the speed of the iPhone now and with lte I never need to keep apps running in the background.

3. Who doubts iOS could and needs to be improved? Everything, yes including android, could use improvement. I am quite happy with the way it is, but it can be improved.

How about you actually site real downfalls of the iPhone instead of criticing it when you clearly haven't used one?

So ya, not all iPhone users are dumb idiots

Thank you. I am tired of all of the iPhone hate on this site. It's like one big Android orgy party here... Guess what, people can like different OS's and phones. It's called choices, and people can make them. Stop acting like your choice is superior to everyone else's. We can all decide for ourselves what we like, and we don't need people like you guys acting like morons glorifying Android and putting down iOS when both have their pros and cons. And you guys complain that PA is biased...you guys are clearly the biased ones

Hey potdragon
i'm an iphone user and... :
1-i use mine one handed.it does look like a remote right??
2-iphones can multitask but it's multitasking ability is somewhat limited.
3-every os can be improved,no os has limit for improvement it just needs attention from developers and innovative ideas.

This isn't customisation, this is giving iOS what should have been in the first place

Good point! I'm new to android having recently sold my ip5 for the gnote 2...and noticed rite out the gate that iOS shoulda had these features at least since the 3GS. That would've given the to the 3rd gen iPhone to nail it, but they've been too reluctant while google throws in everything but the kitchen sink.

Technically Apple didnt do this....its from Cydia. Need to be jail broken to use it.

I do agree its nice tho. I see Apple making this a new feature in iOS in the future.

I bet they've already hired those devs, or have made an offer to purchase that feature, and if those devs didn't apply for a patent...apple WILL take it!

This looks absolutely fantastic. Definitely puts the current setup to shame.

And while I'm 100% for this kind of thing, there's a reason why iPhones don't offer similar multitasking to Android. Apple likely couldn't escape with the great battery life their devices carry at only about 1500mAh batteries if they offered real multi-tasking like Andorid does. It's just a personal choice. Personally I have no qualms about it. Apps resume just fine from the multitasking pane in the iPhone.

Just another android copie , but this proves that the iPhone cannot multitask

Android had the notification bar, then of course apple copied it and called it next generation ,

ow and btw, we android users don't need to "jAiLbReAk" to customise , there are many FREE options like launchers, widgets, notification bar ,.... i could write all day long

No, this proves the iPhone CAN multitask, just that the people in charge of iOS are to incompetent to make it right.

So let me get this straight, multitasking means looking at a page of an app when your not looking at it? And the iphone doesnt multitask because it just shows the icon right?

android multitask is similar to using windows, apps run in background
iOS puts all but foreground app to suspension state

My gnote 2 does this now, not hating on iPhones cuz I owned one till recently but apple seriously needs to step it up big time. iPhones r pretty, but the os is very stale, and boring...although its pretty functional. I'm deeply vested in iOS, but I've embraced android and really like it. If apple revamps the iPhone design, and gives iOS a massive overhaul I'll put it back in my mix along with my gnote 2 and iPad 3. The gnote 2 is now my go to device, I'm not letting that bad boy go. Step it up apple your starting to lose your loyal fan base.

Err... isn't the thing about iOS multitasking that the user is actually the one multitasking (by manually switching between apps to run them), not the phone itself. It's entirely possible that I'm wrong or that changes have been made, but I was pretty sure that with the exception of a few operating system functions nothing ran in the background. So really, it just runs one app at a time, not true multitasking. (Can't watch the video here at work, so if the answer was demonstrated there, I apologize.)
So, basically with this you get to view the last state the app was in similar to holding the home button down on my Maxx showing the most recently used/running apps?
Otherwise, you may as well call the grid of icons "multitasking" since you know, all the apps/settings(?) are right there at your fingertips.

"...and if you swipe down just like that, you can remove..."

Soo, i get that and the other things (and a lot more) with my Nexus as stock with 4.2.1 , but with iOS you have to jail. Nice OS :) .

Jokes aside, the mod looks really really nice!

Apple should pay attention, not be stubborn iDiots and implement some of the mods that are popular. This would brig a better (as they loooove to say it) "user experience" to their clients.

You really dont know what you are missing till you lose it. I just changed from the galaxy s2 to the iphone 5.... I am already putting it online for trade. I really gave it a chance but just does not meet my needs iphone is just stale and the same. I had the 3gs and when it came out it was something new and exciting. Then i got tired of it went to android loved it. waited to see if the iphone 5 was good all my friends got it and i gave in to the hype big mistake.
