App dialer allows you to "dial-in" the app you are looking for

Android power users oft suffer lenghty scrolling and pecking, when looking for that specific app to launch. Even with arranged folders and great organizational skills, swiping through dozens of apps can hardly be evaded by those who enjoy going on install-frenzies every so often.

I've never used app search, and don't fully appreciate the concept. My apps are in alphabetical order, they are not so hard to find. Google now also searches for your apps, which makes this "dialer" seem redundant.

This functionality is already covered by google now. Isnt it?
It searches for apps, contacts, music, web and god knows what not !
