Anything not hardware related in the Samsung Galaxy S 4 is coming to the Samsung Galaxy S III
0. phoneArena 15 Mar 2013, 08:17 posted on
Just because the Samsung Galaxy S 4 has now been introduced doesn't mean that the Samsung Galaxy S III that you've been totin' around with you is now an obsolete relic from another era; after all, as recently as yesterday morning, the smartphone in your pocket was the flagship model and the envy of all of your friends...

You missed the most important point --
Sales > 10 X Lumia 1020 :D
12. pookiewood (Posts: 631; Member since: 05 Mar 2012)
Sales >10,000 x Canonical :D
Sale < 5 x iPhone ;(
*I'm totally interested in Canonical BTW.
21. rusticguy (Posts: 2828; Member since: 11 Aug 2012)
Was canonical in context of the thread? Or you are pissed that W8 is not selling well despite NOKIA :)
34. pookiewood (Posts: 631; Member since: 05 Mar 2012)
No I'm actually really interest in Canonical. Dude I was kidding and going by your icon as you appeared to be going by McJobs's icon (guy showing off the Lumia 620). Notice your icon incorporates Apple and Linux. I even added a disclaimer at the bottom. :(

WP is the biggest flop ever
You cant upgrade your phone.
The most plastic phonea are Lamias
They are heavy and thick as h***

I don't agree with you about WP being a flop but, I have to say Lumias are pretty heavy for a smartphone. Not necessarily bad but, could eventually get a little heavy after holding it for a while.

How about the Samsung ativ s? Is that so heavy?

The good evil folks at Apple would never do this; they would just tell their faithful: "you need to buy a new phone if you want that new feature! Cash only please!?"
Go Sammy, Go Sammy, GO!!!

I just got tired of Michael H. banning me for every little key stroke that I posted. Ok, maybe some of it might have been offensive and demeaning to some of the congregation but, it was meant with true love and lots of ♥. Besides, the ongoing repetitively bantered articles dedicated to a certain phone with a teeny-tiny 4-inch screen, that shall remain nameless forevermore, with its' limited functionality and its' brand new revolutionary connection, just wiped this 'PAPI' out.
But, I'm back; I just hope that Michael H. with his self-professed huge hands finds it in his heart not to whip-lasso me everytime I write something.

OMFG michael h is the absolute WORST. proof anyone who can type a sentence can be a "journalist"

And despite that if sales don;t pick up they would shut down your device from command control center at '1 infinite loop" and that's why they have been tracking everything despite setting it off .. now they want courts to ignore everything that they did :D

Evil at its' best, to mislead all the rest; that is [THEIR] way.

Yes, except for the fact, the presence of which has never seemed to deter you, that the 4S got everything the 4 did. The things the 4 and 3GS didn't get, both handsets being updated LONG after Sammy stops supporting their handsets? Features that were hardware related/limited.

Oh please, I had a 4 and a 4S thanks to an insurance claim; the only thing that was retroactively ported to the 4 from the 4S was useless imbecile named SIRI.

Hardware and software departments only.
Aesthetic is a matter of personal preference though.

Like I've said earlier, why need to change to a new S4 when you can upgrade your S3?
13. Jeradiah3 (Posts: 1038; Member since: 11 Feb 2010)
I agree. This is why I dont regret upgrading to the S3 in december. mobile technology has statrted to plateau. We dont have to get the hot new product every 6 months when their predecessors have advanced enough to carry some of the newer features. Im content with the S3 for now
33. Twisted247 (Posts: 282; Member since: 12 Oct 2012)
"Mobile technology has started to plateau"... LMAO are you blind or just stupid? The flagships of 2013 absolutely take fatty dumps on the previous years (with exception to the Gn2).
Your s3 will be eaten alive by an Exynos 5410 carrying s4, lol.
Just cause you don't have the money to purchase the new items doesn't mean technology is coming to a plateau. The things achieved in the last 3 years in mobile technology have been pretty substantial actually...

If you weren't so busy being a hostile d*ck, you'd see he has a point. A very good one at that. I will also be passing on the S4 and wait for the 5, as I do not see enough difference between the 4 and my S3.
41. Jeradiah3 (Posts: 1038; Member since: 11 Feb 2010)
OBVIOUSLY.............Twisted247 must have not gotten the memo when i said that it has STARTED to plateau. Morons like this guy doesnt see the entire picture. Mobile technology thrives on innovation more than most electrical products. The original iPhone, S3, and the original Note were some of the most innovative products in our history. the features they had were monumental. It doesnt mean that we arent going to advance from that, but we have to go back to the drawing board and re-innovate the industry again
If the S4 had 3GB of RAM and that flexible screen that i heard about, then id be crazy not to get it.............BECAUSE ITS BRAND NEW AND INNOVATIVE
Thank you DroidDoes for understanding my point of view!!!!!!!!
As for Twisted247.............you're as anal as "Sheldon" from "The Big Bang Theory".........oh thats right, you've never seen that show because you stay in your room glued to the computer screen thinking that you have a life. Im a social geek that looks at technology as a way of life and an advancement of the human race. Unless you are the 2nd coming of Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, SHUT THE HELL UP AND GET A JOB LIKE THE REST OF US!!!
52. tonytonydavis (Posts: 2; Member since: 17 Mar 2013)
I agree I am also waiting for the s5 as I don't see enough changes that matter in the way that I use my phone I just want a battery that last 3-4 days and for them to use the 32 or 64gb version as standard as when the s3 came out in uk only the 16gb was available on contracts to all providers
14. GALAXY-STORM (Posts: 328; Member since: 13 Oct 2012)
One good reason why s3 users won't be disappointed with their phone. You always have faith in samsung and developers when it comes anything related to software.
16. weinerslav (Posts: 126; Member since: 31 Jul 2012)
Well, I'm pretty sure the s3 will be kept in the market as a high mid range device, with a slight lower price so why shouldn't they bring new funcionality? There is a lot you wont get and if you want the latest thing you will still upgrade to the s4. That kind of talk is why most of the manufacturers don't upgrade their phones, and that's why samsung sells more! The fragmentation phenomen comes exactly from that thought and the effect is the opposite, if drives away the customers
