It seems like a day can't go by when we hear about another iPhone accessory of some sort...and here's another. This time around it's an Antimicrobial Silicon Case for the iPhone 3GS from the folks at Proporta, which comes available in black with a gray interior. The company claims that mobile phones have on average 25,127 germs per square inch, while a toilet seat only has 49 germs per square inch. (I wonder where they get these numbers from???) The antimicrobial coating on the case is said to stop germs from spreading and growing. One user over at PalmAddicts has tried the antimicrobial case and likes it so far, saying that it provides a great grip and while his coworkers are sick, he's not. The Antimicrobial Silicon Case goes for £14.95 and comes with a lifetime warranty.

gay...if we lived in a germ free world, we would build up no immunity and get even worse sick! i guess it's good for germ freaks tho.

Don't use 'gay' as a synonym for 'stupid' or 'unnecessary.'

3. vzw fanman posted on 12 Jan 2010, 14:23

why is that?

4. Remus posted on 12 Jan 2010, 14:32

Mostly because the term doesn't mean that for one. You might want to look at a Thesaurus for altermate terms that mean "stupid" or that you don't like them... But to the point, meh, its a product people can choose to buy if they want.. Cell phones like computer desktops are some of the dirtiest places a person can encounter on a normal day. Yes.. dirtier than your average public restroom.

What do you mean, 'why?' Several people have asked you several times not to do it, so follow directions.

i don't see any hurt in it. the gays know it means stupid, i don't see why they would get offended.

"The gays now it means stupid, i don't see why they would get offended." Wow, man. Wow. I'm glad you're not one of our customers.

"gay...if we lived in a germ free world, we would build up no immunity and get even worse sick! i guess it's good for germ freaks tho." If our world was 'germ free'...we wouldnt get sick as you would suggest, because there would be no germs....in a germ free world...so your theory is not logical, hence why you use a Verizon.

OH....and get even worse sick........not grammatically correct. FAIL number 2

i don't understand. everyone here can say, "retarded" but i can't say "gay"?

Dunno.. I'd imagine our conversation about your particular choice of words, violated the terms of use, and was offensive resulting in their removal from the website. I still think that the idea of a phone condom is pretty cool, especially one that is anti-microbial.
