I got 'poked' Friday night. Could see no benefit, same build number. I saw another site mention the possible allowance of the download of Facebook from the Android Market; which was previously denied. Sure enough, I could and did download it. I see no difference in the updated FB vs. what came with the device. Maybe it a stealth 'fix' similar to the AT&T FB bug. Who knows, who cares, etc.

It is an update for facebook. I have had customers come in with the droid where it wouldnt update your notifications in the facebook app and my droid as well had issues with facebook updates and always recieved an error message. 2.1 probably will not see the light of day until end of february.

facebook for all android phones wasnt allowing notifications for some reason; theyd just display error messages while trying to upload them. so it didnt fix it for the droid
