Angry Birds to invade Outer Space in latest iteration of the game
Now that Rovio has conquered Earth with Angry Birds, the next step makes sense. On March 22nd, Angry Birds Space will be launched for all mobile platforms. Rovio is joining up with NASA and National Geographic for this version of the wildly successful mobile game. According to Yahoo Games the Birds will be flying through the atmosphere of different planets while facing zero gravity conditions which will lead to new puzzles in slow-motion and destruction in light-speed. Angry Birds Space will feature new birds along with some of the old familiar ones, some with super powers.

Since its launch in 2009, Angry Birds has been downloaded over 700 million times on iOS and Android devices. The Birds have become a hot property with their images plastered all over the place from lunch boxes and toys, to pillow cases and t-shirts. Angry Birds Space will not only be released as a mobile video game next month, but will simultaneously be launched in retail and animation channels. You will see Angry Birds Space not only on your phone or tablet, but also in the toy and clothing departments in a massive media attack that mobile games normally don't receive. There even is a special website for the game where you can see this quotation, "One Small Fling For A Bird, One Quantum Leap For Birdkind."

It would have been better for Rovio to create an entirely new game rather than stick with Angry Birds.

Oooo! can't wait! i'm discouraged from playing all the other versions because i'll get three stars on an ass load of levels and then i'll replace my phone for whatever reason or the other and i have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN. the new game should be account based. >:P

for shizzle?

The superuser functionality is, well, super. it opens up a whole new realm of possibility for developers to make the best apps. and you need superuser to run these apps/scripts/roms/zips/themes/etc.

Wow. Go ahead and write an article about new Angry Birds (Who cares anymore???) but please feel free to ignore the "ghost call" issue that loads of Optimus 3D users have been facing ever since they upgraded to gingerbread,

Write news that matters

multi-million dollar gaming franchise > complaints about year old phone that's been updated to 2.3

Seasons and Rio were pretty disappointing, but Space could be good if they actually take varying levels of gravity and such for it, as well as many special things like black holes that can teleport the birds to other sections of the map, etc. Knowing Rovio though, Im not expecting an actual enhancement, I expect this to be the original AB, but with Space environments.
