Angry Birds downloaded 8 million times on Christmas Day

Exactly one year ago today, we told you that Angry Birds was downloaded 6.5 million times on Christmas Day and the numbers went up for 2012 with 8 million downloads; Rovio produced an inforgraphic that also reveals some more information such as the 30 million downloads of the game that took place during the entire week...

It does get kind of old, and there are many better games out there, but it is a useful (as useful as a mind-less time killer can be) game to kill time in waiting rooms and in situations when a person is waiting for an unknown (but estimated to be short) amount of time. I definitely prefer games like modern combat, GTA, N.O.V.A., need for speed, ... when I can, but nurses, airport gate attendants, and priests hearing confession don't like people asking for a minute to murder this prostitute before you talk to them
