Andy Rubin: Android activations reach 900,000 a day

0. phoneArena 10 Jun 2012, 23:49 posted on

Google's Andy Rubin says that Android activations now reach a total of 900,000 units a day which is up from the 850,000 that the executive had proclaimed was getting turned on daily back in February at MWC 2012; the total includes cell enabled phones and tablets...

Android Central has actually been pretty objective about Android, its advantages and its faults.

At least I post a source. When's the last time you did that? Hell, I even post YOUR sources FOR YOU.

You still haven't named your source for the way Android phone activations get counted.

But because you want a "more objective" source apparently (even though AppleInsider and 9to5Mac are often used as sources) here's another one that corroborates what I've already said:

Please stop insisting on bulls**t, Taco. It's wearying.

Which brings us back to 1) Link your sources and 2) Stop trying to act smart.

Why yes, my strategy is to overpower your laziness with quick links that rebut the idiotic arguments implicit in your statements.

Just accept it, Taco. Admit it. You're wrong.

I mean, don't you realize how much more respect you get when people realize you can admit when you're wrong?

Look we know Andy won't admit to fudging the numbers, but he is.

So basically, you're saying that you have absolutely zero proof for your claim. It's just what you choose to believe.

Are you sure of that?! Did you ask Mr. Rubin how they count activattions of each android phones and tablets. Wild guess??!! You're just too jealous, as usual.

I bet this means "service swaps" and customers activating replacement devices as well as sales. If this were just "sold" then the whole world would have android devices, shortly. They need to be more specific. Android devices, the cheap ones, tend to break down a lot and have more bugs. Certain people go through multiple "activation" a year. I hate the articles as they are never clear enough

Yea pretty much. Android inflates its own numbers by making faulty devices.

How about iPhone 4/4s users numbers who goes to Apple Service centers to fix their shattered glass phone.

Yeah that's right, sad to say those sheeps still can't accept the truth, if you ask them absolutely they will deny it.

apple can't match this considering they only have 3 types of ios devices ipodtouch, ipad, iphone (and their subcategories). and the whole world isn't only america. the rest of the world particularly asia isn't a fan of data plans. most of the millions of phones being sold in asia are prepaid. no average earning person would buy a $500+ phones so obviously it is the android's market. samsung alone has the galaxy y, ace, mini, duo, duo s, etc. the rest also has featured phones which is the best selling in asia!
