…Optimized Google search for both operating systems. No matter where you’ll type the words that you’re interested in (in the home screen widget of the G1, in the search bar of Safari or in the browser), the results will now be displayed faster and will be formatted in such a way, that you wouldn’t need to zoom in or scroll horizontally. You also have some handy for finger-use buttons and expandable maps for the business results.

These extras will be available to all users with an Android phone or an iPhone/iPod Touch, as long as its version is 2.0 or higher. For those of you that prefer the standard view (as on a computer), there’s a link “Classic” in the end of the results page.
