I wonder what phones will be left out of getting this update, after putting gingerbread on my EVO 4g I get those random HTC sense restarts. Just 30 more days to my upgrade.

My EVO was giving me HTC sense restarts ALL the time. I've had it since July 2010 and have had numerous upgrades since then (froyo and gingerbread) as well as installing and uninstalling tons of apps. I recently did a hard reset and my phone is AMAZING now. I highly recommend doing this, especially after upgrading to a new OS. It's very easy to back up all of your contacts and such by using your google account. Restoring everything is efforless and speedy. Now my phone is lightning fast and good as new. Hope this helps.

Because of xda, I don't need a Nexus phone. The rooting aspect of has really become user friendly. There are so many videos on YouTube.com & the steps xda are actually very easy to follow. It's like cooking. If you can follow a recipe then you can cook. The same for rooting. If you can follow steps then you can root. I will be one of the very first people with Android Ice Cream Sandwich on my HTC Evo 3D. I can't wait. xda is very, very nice! lol Google Body on my phone will be awesome!
