Android: How to tell who has been messing with your smartphone

0. phoneArena posted on 08 Feb 2013, 07:16

Chances are that if you have a smartphone or a tablet, there's stuff on it that you wouldn't like every single person around you to have access to - text messages, images, video, apps, you name it. Sure, you can hide your private images or lock down certain apps using software made for that purpose, but such a solution isn't always enough to keep prying eyes away. What if you want to see who has been secretly messing with your Android device without telling you? Well, in that case, there's a few apps that can come in handy. Cerberus anti theft is the best anti theft app, if a thief stole my phone well they're pretty much in trouble

Second that! Cerberus app tracks your phone, takes a picture (even with the back camera if you want to), and much more! And just costs $3 for a lifetime license

I use Android Lost myself.

I second this. I feel I should try others, but can't think of anything androidlost cannot do.

I use SeekDroid and Kaspersky phone/tablet security. The last one takes pictures too. First one is awesome for tracking.

That cutey is trying to steal a Motorola one. Cant find the model, but it was designed for seniors. Big numbers, nothing but call, contacts and sms, monochrome.
