An early build of Android 4.4 has leaked out and for the first time we get to see a very detailed screenshot-backed report of what the upcoming KitKat version looks like…

To be fair the last few updates from Google have been buggy. It would be unwise to offer a massive update until they resolve the issues that most face when updating.
Mainly Nexus devices are the ones to suffer

I was looking forward for a redesigned UI.
holo ui is nice but it seems , its about time to change that. At least make it a bit refreshing, get rid of that dark theme.... And make,it a lot more clean...

They go for the dark cuz more darker ui makes way for more battery life for OLED..

Or at least an option to choose dark or white theme...

Can you guys now acknowledge the other leaks you posted were obviously fake?

KeyLimePie... not Kit Kat
looks like fake.

I think you should read article a bit more carefully
the article says "Do not be surprised to see the Key Lime Pie name in the images below as they are obviously of an early version when the KitKat naming decision had not yet been taken."

why so many screenshots? most of these things are available in Android 4.3...
I think Google is cheating on us...at first we thought it is key lime pie...and Google said no it's kit kat! but in none of the leaks we seen no name of kitkat! Google wanted to make money by calling it kitkat until it is released. But the real name is key lime pie!!!

First of all its an early build, that why these screen shots shows KLP instead of Kit Kat.
and this version wont bring any UI overhaul that's comes in version 5.0 (i also like to see a redesigned UI)

I once called out a set of early ICS screenshots as fake because they said "IceCreamSandwich" in the version number for Android, instead of 4.0.
However, in retrospect, many of the screenshots of that supposed early build did contain elements that we saw in the final ICS release, most notably the organization of the app drawer.
Therefore, this time I can't say that these are fake based on "KeyLimePie" being there instead of "4.4."
I am excited to see printing go native on Android now, as well as mirroring (though it seems Miracast has yet to really catch on in TVs.)
For the record, here's the link to that ICS leak:http://www.phonearena.com/news
God, those were the days.

You mean "Thumper," right? I was actually wondering what happened to him.

They were supposed to migrate to Linux 3.8 (better memory management etc etc). Somehow this doesn't seem legit. On a side note my N4 shows in "Android Version" field 4.3 not JellyBean, and the baseband number format is somewhat off.

Wow..more cool features are coming.

I hope they make Keep slightly more intuitive to use.. It's a bit too minimal for my taste.

I'm wondering why there is hammerhead in the build info.
Since these are Nexus 4 screenshots it should be a mako build, hammerhead supposed to be the Nexus 5.
And kind of disappointed of the camera app, hoped they fix the cut off viewfinder. Doesn't look like they did.

Also, the baseband version is for a Snapdragon 800...

Okay, these are fake.
We have seen in previous leaks that Kitkat will get a new messaging app icon. In this one, it's still the old one.

I hope they aren't fake because if they are legit then it would be an awesome purchase for that new device I have in mind to get.
Drive and Keep are so-so for me because I barely use them but would need to start back since I have a tendency for getting devices without an SD card because I have a tendency for getting some virus on the sd card that messes the entire device.
