Good news for Android owners who are subscribers to Time Warner Cable as a tweet is telling us that streaming video from Time Warner will be available to those with a handset powered by Android 4.0 some time around the end of this quarter...

Definitely a marketing ploy by Google, make sure that app builders concentrate on apps for the 4.0 version of Android that will guaranteed adoption much faster than any other Android version. Good idea, hopefully it will work and ICS will overtake the other versions soon and then Android fragmentation will cease to be much of an issue...but with so many different chipsets out there, it's still not going to be easy to create apps that work flawlessly on every one of them OEM need to stop creating low end phones that don't have enough RAM to allow for updates to keep the phone relevant for at least 2 cycles.
