However, the white iPhone has too many problems, thus the halt of shipment It does not look exactly like the iPhone at all at least for the galaxy s lines here in the US. Touch screen phones ultimately look similar with a big blank screen and a few buttons, what more do you want?

the X and incredible are about HALF as powerful as a GalaxyS. Personal preferences aside, there isnt a stronger phone on the market right now... point blank. BTW, this story is very MISLEADING. IF you have a VIBRANT,CAPTIVATE,EPIC,FACINATE.... this update IS NOT COMMING FOR YOU. Its only for the I9000 European version of the phone. American variants should get it in November sometime.

Half as powerful? Are you kidding me? I have an X and my sister has a Fascinate. There is no comparison. The X blows the Fascinate out of the water. You need to do some more fact checking dude.

Keep in mind that the Galaxy's are not 2.2 yet, and that's a big difference, once the Galaxy receives the 2.2 update, the scores should be much higher. Just look at the Nexus One benchmark's between 2.2 and non 2.2.
