Android 2.2 Froyo build FRF72 leaks out - makes some Nexus One owners happy

If you happen to be sporting Google's mighty phone, you'd better be quick in downloading the latest build of Android 2.2 Froyo, FRF72, which is apparently up for grabs right now on Google's official servers. Although it remains unseen at how long it'll be on there, this build has been installed and tested out to work perfectly on the Nexus One. Although there are no confirmations regarding what's exactly to be found on this latest build of Froyo, some believe it to include updates for Flash support and increased performance to the web browser. With time ticking away, it'd be anyone's guess when Google decides to pull this off of their servers, but in the mean time, you'd better rush on over to get yourself acquainted with it. If not, you can simply just wait around until the official update rolls along – which we hope to be some time soon.

i don't understand why 2.2 is such a big deal. there really isn't much of a difference.

Uhmm, well since you just woke up. Froyo 2.2 will support flash. Also Froyo will be making some OS related changes such as being able to save apps to the SD card. This is just scratching the surface. And yes there is a huge difference. Now you can go back to sleep.
