Android 2.1 will make its way to the Samsung Moment on February 22?

Although the Samsung Moment is still running Android 1.5, it may see light sooner than expected with 2.1 expected to happen beginning on February 22...

i can understand why the phones with custom UI's on their android havent gotten it yet (ie, hero/eris, cliq) because of having to make the UI's compatable w/ the newer system, but why the heck havent ALL the base androidphones been updated to atleast 2.0? It has to be some kind of exclusivity window for the nexus one to get people to buy the phone.. thats really all I can think of. Get all the androids on one platform dangit. enough of the staggering!!

Speaking of the Hero (CDMA, its a nice phone!) HTC released a refresh of the MyTouch...How about a refresh of the Hero? There is a design flaw as the menu and home buttons are "foil" and ive seen them fall apart around 60-90 days of use. Put a real button there like the MyTouch and make the phone thinner... If Sprint would have more subscribers and sell more phones they would have more phones, get new phones faster, and then as a result subscribers would not have to wait forever for software updates. Android updates should have been released a month after the droid was released. With out the update Sprint customers have missed out on apps requiring the updated software like Google Goggles among others...its things like this that convince me that Sprint offers an inferior wireless experience. Stop the disappointments and get out there and do it big like the 4G gangsters you are!!
