If u read the article at all it says that the update is preparation for 2.1. I mean at least read the article.

The update increase battery life so I would say it is awesome.

I know this is for the Droid but has anyone heard anything for the HTC Hero on Sprint w/ 2.1 update. They said through Twitter it was coming........hmmmm still waiting with my cupcake.
