Waiting for Google's I/O conference next week? So are we, as the company might do a trick, pulling out an updated Nexus tablet out of the proverbial hat. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo issued a note to clients the expected specs, which mostly jibe with what we've heard so far, at least regarding the higher-res screen...

Got my Nexus 7 2nd half of last year and it's still a great performer. Some games shows lag but overall it's still a great piece of Android awesomeness. I'll probably get the 2nd gen when my tab starts to struggle with at least 40% of the latest high-end apps.

323 ppi.
I'd really like a Nexus 8 inch instead of 7 inch though.

If all that's true, that's going to be my first tablet. I only hope I don't have to keep hitting the refresh button for too many days to get it :D

Nexus 7 again???

With soft keys of stock android you don't even get 7 inches you get 6.8 inches or something..

Make it a Nexus 8 google...

And give it for free ....
That's the only way to compete with apple ....

"And give it for free ..."

Please re-read what you've wrote because that made no sense at all.

What i mean is that since android is open and free, with adds...
They should put some coca cola and nike advertising stickers on the nexus and give it fee..
Its gonna be a perfect adds in an out experience...

I'm in if those specs are true. Especially if they can price a 16gig model at $200.

If its at least 16GB memory for that price, it will be MINE, although I would honestly probably pay $50 more to double memory :)

And it will also be the highest resolution device I'll have. My TV and PC monitors max at 1366x768 and my phone is 1280x720.
