There is no tablet market. Only an iPad market. At least for paying customers.

Honestly it doesn't even matter how good the iphone 5 is. It will sell like hotcakes. Same goes for the iPad 3 and iPhone 6. Don't get me wrong though I would love for it to be awesome and have some crazy features we haven't even heard rumors about. Apple needs to do something big. They need to keep their more tech-wise customers happy

It's going to be an android blood bath. I feel sorry for droidbots. They'll drown in their own bitter tears.

I just changed my mind.
The analysts have got it wrong with Apple.
There won't be any monster quarter from Apple, I'll buy the Nexus Prime instead when it comes out. A superior OS compared to IOS !

Whateverman.

I just want to point out that the last taco post there is a impersonator. Or more specificly, it is my brother whom has been using the computer without being allowed to and has been posting here on PhoneArena under the name taco5O.

He is not allowed to do so, and you won't be seeing any more such posts (i normally have this computer at work, but since it is a laptop i usually bring it home with me, and my little brother decided to have some fun impersonating taco while at a visit to my house).

the only bloodbath will be on islaves bank accounts, you gotta pity them spending out all that money again on the same phone renamed iphone 4s. In retrospect its these idiots that keep the economy and market going with repeated sales of the same products in recessionary times so guess these poor souls make life better for those in awareness above

Don't you have more arguments? Sometimes you guys are so sad. If people buy the new one it's because it is good, read the articles about costumer satisfaction and then talk. I don't think they're idiots, they're guys who know and trust that apple is doing an amazing job. Don't buy it. You'll just be one outside the probably 30 millions that will buy.

It is not going way out on a limb for an analyst to predict good sales for Apple mobile products.

Besides, after the non-existing advertisements for the Windows phones, and some strange commercials for Android products (the Bionic commercial in the robot arena? The tablet commercial where everyone is celebrating the man buying a Toshiba? What do those have to do with selling the functions and capabilities of your products?) Apple will fire up simple, straight to the point ads that sell the strong points of their devices and show once again that the package is every bit as important as the product.

The only bit of cold water that Apple could be facing is if the lone rumor about Apple only releasing a mildly improved iPhone 4S (current iPhone with CPU, GPU and RAM of iPad 2) in October is true. If that happened, the dashed expectations would probably drop Apple's share price at least 5% and the whispering about Tim Cook not being able to fill Steve's shoes would begin.

A product made popular by techies and the mainstream media. And for the tech illiterate, its nice to buy what everyone has or whats popular despite the many alternatives that are equal or better.

The H8 wars between Android and iOS fans must crack up the carriers every day they check their cash position. The only thing the carriers worry about is net subscriber erosion. If the net subscriber position is headed north-bound, life is good for them.
