Why does everyone think that this phone will be called the iPhone 5? It's the 6th generation iPhone. There was no iPhone 2. iPhone, 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 6...

because it will, Apple wont skip a number just because they screwed it up using 3G for marketing reasons and continued the trend ie 4S

It's will be called iPhone LTE with 4" screen, but not 4G/LTE capable.
2013 will be iPhone LTES with 4.3" screen and still not 4G/LTE capable.

both phones are good, they both have good points and they both have bad.. lets keep it at that.

Why would they call it a iPhone LTE and not have 4G/LTE included? that just wont happen. Thats like selling a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and not including the Signature V8 engine..

Just like iPhone 4 & 4S, but not 4G capable.
iSh**ps will buy them not knowing it's not a 4G phones.

if apple will be up to their reputation with this, I expect a revolutionary microscopic changes in design and an even more revolutionary 4 inch screen reinvented.
they don't even need to change anything else, because it will be the best iPhone yet and reach a hundred million sales.

sales is the important thing so thats all that matters

And as soon as they finally catch up to the rest of the world with a 4 inch screen, they will start suing everybody else saying it's Apple's original idea, and no one but Apple can market it.

iphone 5/6 could look like the 3g and it will still sell like its the greatest thing ever. seriously if apple allow me to drag and drop files, removable storage and a 4-4.3" screen i just might buy another iphone but till then i have no reason to switch from my s2(soon the s3 when available).

I wonder if iPhone 5 will have 2G or 3G?
I wonder if iPhone 5 will get a bump-up' to the the Front Facing Camera, maybe a WHOLE 1.0MP and maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to use FaceTime™ on 2G/3G versus just iWiFi only?
I wonder if the screen size will be increased to 3.5.01"?
I wonder if iPhone 5 will be able to HDMI out to TV using just one cable and not a multi-cable with tentacles; and, will it mirror phone in full stretch mode or just use about 70% of the screen?
I can't wait for the big let down of 2012 (only rivaled by the big let down of 2011).

Why is it only Apple articles that have people debating on which phone companies and products and services are better? I only see very little debates between Apple and Android on an Android article. But I know one reason why. People who are fandroids, or almost fandroids like me look at a lot of Apple articles because they and me ourselves enjoy Apple, very well, we are curious so us fandroids are more likely reliable to know about devices more because they have interest in all products so they look at specs for Android and Apple products or most likely in this case, phones. But Apple fanatics who worship apple or almost, only care of what they favor which is Apple, and so you can’t really rely on what they can compare and contrast from different companies how services because all they do is care about Apple. They don't have back up on how what they think Apple is better because they don't care about other devices but only Apple. The Iphone is only famous because, really, it came from a past where it did get other phone companies a better look at their view on how phones will be, in the future, ever since 2007. I like the iPhones yes i do. But you can’t back it up with features and hardware other companies and phones are holding. And that was 2010 and 2011, Apple users don't want to admit it, that other phones are over powering it, not money and budget wise, just as features and all of what phones hold. Apple probably has that sense already. So me, an Android boy, I am excited and will read I phone articles because i am pretty sure apple will be surprising us on what the Iphone will hold because Apple knows what other phone contain. But I am not saying they are copying, but that is how it goes in the business world they need to compete and find a way for their fans to back them up. I don't believe all that Sh*t on copying in the tech world, at all.

Leading? Innovative? Setting new standards? WHO CARES?
From a Blackberry user, I just can tell that the iPhone is the best looking and easier to use cell phone out there. Since when look doesn't count anymore??? Who needs a phone half second faster with a slightly better screen and CHEAP looking plasticky feel at the same price as an iPhone?
I use BB because is given to me for work and I use an iPod touch for fun and ask me if would buy an Android just because maybe performs a tiny bit better!!!
