Analyst gives Apple a deadline for the iWatch... or else

0. phoneArena 22 Mar 2014, 18:06 posted on

It is an extremely weird time for Apple analysts right now. With the announcement of Android Wear, Apple itself may not be all that shaken, but the analysts who make their living talking about Apple are definitely having strange reactions. We saw earlier that one analyst doesn't even believe that the iWatch is real, and if he is right, there is another analyst forecasting doom...

They can't litigate to win in the wearable department as easily so they'll be fighting that battle with both hands and legs tied behind their back.

I think it's fair to say that every major tech company wants "dictatorship" of the mobile tech world... There's nothing wrong with that, it's natural, and it's just business..
..................
But, if you were to say that, lets say Google,, doesn't then that would be just pure unrealistic extreme bias...

Its fine to want dictatorship....

How you go about it is another story tho. Google is doing it alot different than Apple. Google practically gives away phones and services.

And they have a plan to offer free or low cost wifi to everyone.

Yeah, Google practically give away their stuff because that's not where they make their money. All Google are interested in is your personal data, that's why their stuff is so cheap; the more people using its platforms, the more data they collect.

Nobody wants it. Once you get it, you've got the government breathing down your necks. That's why Bill Gates and MS bailed Apple out of insolvency all those years ago. Having 90% of the market is fine, but you need some token, viable competition to point to if you start getting scrutinized.

Look at those sorry analyst. Every company including MOTO have a smart watch. That shows you how desperate they are.

Absolutely...they have enough loyal fans to keep them afloat whether or not they're late to the watch market. The trick is to make their products appealing again for possible new users of their (still limited) platform.

I find it amazing that people envisage the users of a different platform as somehow bamboozled into using it. Obviously unable to see the ambrosia that is the platform you chose.

You know what's really ironic is that you call him a troll just because he was stating his own opinion. Apparently he doesn't know how to control his anger because you guys started yappin and yappin. However, point is, this same guy (Arte-8800), was defending WP in a previous post and there he was called a fanboy. Why can't you guys let somebody just voice their opinions and get meaningful replies from like-minded people? So what his grammar isn't that good. Its not a crime to not know English, who said its compulsory to speak (or type) fluent English? Maybe thats where the misunderstanding began, because you couldn't really get what he was saying. Now the both of you are off arguing in every WP post on PA and trust me, it doesn't make you look more knowledgeable than the other. Try to cut people some slack over here when they post their opinions. Its not trolling if somebody did not have the luxury of growing up in an English speaking country, maybe its not even a luxury. Anyway thats my opinion on you two. Crucify me if you wish, but know that I won't reply if you post anything that isn't worth reading.

utterly ridiculous, apple will not be become irrelevant because of a silly watch or no watch. smart watches have the 3d tv part deux written all over it, everybody says we want one and in reality nobody actually does... this analyst is a iDiot

Yeah I agree. I'm not an Apple fan at all but these analysts really need to get over themselves. These guys predict all sorts of stupid doom and gloom. Apple isn't going anywhere.

When you are referring to everybody & nobody, who exactly are you speaking on behalf of? I personally can't wait to get my wrist into one of these things especially if they can make them last at least 2 full days on a charge with heavy useage.

All the IWatch needs to be is good. Whenever they release it, if it's rocking then it's all good. Doesn't really matter when. Apples last announcements come in late fall, so there lies the window.
