yea, because people want a "4 year old OS" with no major improvements as well as no multitasking and limited (no flash) web browsing for 600 bux. Sounds more like an iphone fanboy and less like an analist. Even the Galaxy Tab does more than that, and its not even an optimized (3.0) tablet. I wish analists would lose their job everytime they make such stupid statements and get it so blatantly wrong. That would teach them to do research before they open their mouth.. lol

They are totally unproven. Who is going to go by the bb playbook. A confused football player maybe? Come on. The ipad does the internet, games whatever you need. It is lacking a usb and camera, but you can bet that will be fixed in the coming months. The samsung tab had a chance but since you cant do voice calls it will end up being a NOTHING! Here's a hint, stop betting against Apple. Weather you like them or not, they keep winning!

"It is lacking a usb..., but you bet that will be fixed in the coming months" -If "fixed" means the consumer will have to purchase an accessory (probably @ $30 ) to plug into the iPad and accept a USB drive, then yes. Accessory makers love Apple because apple products require so many after marker accessories to make it a complete product. Then, in @ a year, apple adds 1 new feature an a new model (a feature that should've been included on the original model), and changes the design just enough so previous accessories won't work and you to buy all new stuff. No thank you

hawk, they arent winning anymore, android is. who would want a blackberry playbook? the business world, and millions of blackberry fans out there. Who would want an android tablet? Anyone in any category as they will be made with a huge array of specs for price range and uses. The real question is why the hell would u spend 600 on a Ipad that doesnt do flash, multitask, have cameras, usb ports, hdmi ports... or anything.. i mean really. I have to use one of these stupid things in class since the college bought them. they are just giant ipods. Nothing special at all.

I was excited about the Galaxy pad. Now It's no phone, no super amoled and more expensive than the ipad. Three strikes I'm out! I hope that by this time next year the whole world will be in the palm of our hands but for now Apple wins. But not for long I hope. The Galaxy S IS better than the iphone. Ha Ha!!!

I've said it once I will say it again, there is no tablet market only iDiots who WILL buy any and everything Crapple places out on the market. Why do you think earlier adopters of the iMaxi are so happy with the device while later adopters are a little less satisfied, there is no market. I am also certain PA cherry picked quotes to cheer on their team. BTW I wonder if PA's sponsers ever read the crap they post here, there products never get a fair shake when compared to Crapple. Seems sort of like a dysfunctional relationship if you ask me.

You bring up a point that I think many miss. The iPad's customer satisfacition rate is much higher with the early adopters. Most likely because that original rush was the Apple faithful and they will most likely never be unsatisfied with Apple. Those who waited for whatever reason: saving up, weighing options, curiosity seem to be less satisfied probably because the iPad did not live up to it's magical and revolutionry reputation or they now have buyer's remorse since a new iPad and competitors will be coming out with features not to be found on the original iPad.

I would like to say that analysts are just that they take data and play fortune telling with it, we must observe there was a sertain increase on ipad sale cuz they took a 10 year's old product and brought it Back to the market. Pads aren't new so if you get all the info in how pads have being selling these last few years you will see a great peack on the ipad, plus the galaxy sales haven't gone propertly yet , so I wonder what was the actual competition that was used to get to this conclusion (probably that internet pad sold on ebay for $120) A friends of mine use to say these things are never accurate, and he woks on that kind of stuff.

At least the playbook doesn't have the word "pad" in its name. I doubt the picture looks as grim as this analyst says, but I suspect in the tablet market, it's going to be a race to number 2 for a few years. I'm interested in the Playbook.
