This is why phone count should be less on Android.
Windows is making a good move with their devices, but they aren't selling. Hopefully the 900 will change this.

This article is dumb as hell because there is only one Apple phone and that is the iPhone. Where as Android users have choice to choose from many great devices. It would be like putting the Razr Maxx as the only phone Android had. It would have MANY more sales since that would be the only option Android users had. Just ONE more way of making iPhone users think their phone is the S***. When you try to explain something like this to them is like speaking to a brick wall and then they mention "SIRI". Tolololol.

This is all explained in Economy classes and how to gimmick everything to your favor. Next and upcoming article. "Apple, the only phone to offer Retina display, Facetime, and IOS". No S*** Apple, it will never be offered to any other phone. People are just too damn stupid to figure out that there are other options out there. They make it seem like their the only ones with a high res screen. I got tired of watching the Apple annoucements. They always say the word REVOLUTIONARY for s*** thats been out already. LOL

You guys mad cuz you guys base technological advances through sales figures. Like I said. Brick wall. I could careless if you guys own iPhones.

Fact is fact. Wanna throw in some excuses? You guys will be in line for the iPhone 4 SS. Funny how you guys diss the amount of android phones coming so rapidly, but Apple offered the same phone 2x! And people still bought it! At least Android deviced are coming out with new tech. And has had 4g for how long? Mmmm. Mention Siri. Hahaha

Im not mad bro.

I will talk crap about Android flaws all day too when fanboys try to hype their phones up too. Theres no need to spread lies about the hardware. And the fact is, that most android phones are better than the iPhone for many reasons. I would own an iPhone myself if it might be bigger, external memory, had a better browser, better OS, etc... Im not scared of consumer backlash like everyone else. Honestly, at the moment Im waiting for Windows OS to see how that will turn out because of the android flaws I cant stand.

dude chill... there is no perfect phone.. we all have different needs so what seems to be the best phone for you may not be for the next person... respect the people that choose iOS wherever that reason may be... and get over your self... is not like they ask you for money or anything

It's amazing how the iPhone can outsell all android phones by itself.

This has all been explained in a previous post. If the iPhone 4s had an iPhone 4s XL variant. The iPhone 4s sales would drop due to some sales going to the 4s XL. It's a no S*** situation.

Oh please this is why you fail at simple math. When did SGS 2 and Razor /Maxx become all of androids phones? This doesn't show all android phones total, it shows by OEM of the android device. Now if you said something like the iPhone out sells any single android phone then your post would be valid. God your such a TOOL

read the article man, it says on AT&T and Sprint it's outselling all android phones combined.

Im sorry did you not read what you 1st posted? Your talking about Sprint and AT&T, those people are waiting for phones such as the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S 3. Why would anyone use their upgrade on the old Android phones when you have 2 of the most anticipated Android phones coming out. So of course it seems android phones aren't selling, once those 2 phones come out it will be out selling the iPhone in 1 or 2 quarters. None of those come out at the same time so certain phones sell better then others at certain times.

There's always a new android phone coming out every two weeks. iPhone will outsell all of those phones easily.

You did notice the part where it said that the iPhone ****may**** be outselling the other Android models on AT&T and Sprint? They don't actually know. They may be right, but it's not a given. Besides, this time of the year is about when all the Evo and iPhone 4 early adopters are coming available. And while the Evo was nice for its time, it didn't age well (like most of the cheap Android smartphones) so you have some people who don't trust the platform anymore.

Furthermore, when they make the statement about what's outselling what, they're counting ALL iPhones, not just the 4S. I have just as many people come in asking for the 4 as for the 4S.

Evo was a flagship android phone. It was touted on here by android fanboys as way better than the iPHone 4. Also that's still only 2 iPhones against 30 different android models.

17 Android phones, actually, counting pre owned, ones only available online, and most importantly, models that don't even compete with the same demographic that would otherwise be looking to buy the iPhone.

And in many ways the Evo was better; higher resolution camera, bigger screen, SD card slot, and faster data speeds. The only two things that sucked were its internal memory (which ended up dooming its performance) and its battery life.

But it's mostly the novelty factor; the iPhone is a status symbol in the public eye, and Sprint customers are able to have it for the first time. And on AT&T, there are a lot of embedded iPhone owners because they didn't have an Android model worth a damn until the Captivate came out.

3g, 3gs, 4s,16gb, 32gb, black, white.....sounds like more than 2 models to me. When the iphone 4G comes out then maybe you can keep up.

I can believe that the iPhone 4s is the top selling phone, not because it has amazing top notch technology, but because it's reliable and safe. I get updates within days and I can trust that it will be supported for a while with updates and things because apple releases a phone a year. It's not revolutionary or the best phone in the world, I am not an apple isheeep, i just picked a phone that was practical for me.

Why is the galaxy s2 split up for all it variants on different carriers...

Probably because they're all actually different phones. The international version has a trackpad, the US versions don't. Some have NFC, some don't. The Sprint version has a larger screen. The 4G versions have Qualcomm processors instead of Samsung's Exynos. You can't really have that many variations and call it the same phone.

The 4s has different radios accross carriers and is considered the same phone. They are all called the sgs2

The international SGS2 doesn't have a trackpad, that's just a home button.
