An iPhone 4 browser-based jailbreak appears, just for the legality of it
We knew this day was coming sooner rather than later, but, possibly encouraged by last week's U.S. Copyright Office ruling, the enigmatic @comex released an iPhone 4 jailbreak. Comex even took the trouble to embed the software bypass as a browser-based executable, so you don't have to be connected to iTunes to free up your phone from the Apple/AT&T grip anymore.

This approach seems to have resonated well with users, as the JailbreakMe.com servers have been overloaded with requests recently. The exploit works with all Apple devices running iOS 4 and 4.01, but would not crack the iOS 4.1 beta 2 that is currently in developer's hands – Apple has probably closed the loop on this one already. The hack is free, it's in the clouds, and you are simply encouraged to donate via PayPal.

From what we see on the guy's Twitter page there are still some issues with iPad 3.2.1 constantly rebooting, and with MMS and FaceTime not working properly, which Comex is vouching to address. The solution is totally reversible, too, in case you are worried about voiding warranty.

I just found a website with full pics, faqs and tutorials, maybe it'll help -http://www.iosjailbreak.net . Helped me a lot because it was simple... JBd my devices (two iPhone 3GS, both with 4.0.1) by following the instructions from there and it all went buttery smooth!
