Amp'd Mobile to expand its line-up of handsets with Motorola Hollywood

Amp'd Mobile and Motorola announced at this year's Consumer Electronics Show that the Motorola E816/Hollywood handset will join the Amp'd Mobile's handset line-up in the first quarter of 2006. The device features proprietary user interface of the new mobile virtual

network operator (MVNO), which officially launched in December. The dual-band CDMA handset sports:

  • Dual color displays
  • BREW
  • 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and video capture
  • EV-DO high-speed data
  • TransFlash memory expansion slot
  • MP3 player
  • Built-in speakerphone
  • Voice commands, recording and dialing
