According to a patent filing made by Amazon, the retailer and tablet manufacturer is working on an app that allows for the transfer of funds without requiring the use of personal information like name and email address; instead, both parties to a transaction are registered with an intermediary and instead of money, a code is sent to the recipient's email address which later can be redeemed for the cash...

This sounds very nice. Im sure it could still be exploited, but definitely less risk than other payment methods. I will certainly try it out when available.
