Amazon might drop the Kindle Fire price $50 to make room for a model with higher screen resolution

Sources from the "upstream supply chain" have hinted the Amazon Kindle Fire will receive a $50 price cut to $149, in order to make room for a new model with higher, 1280x800 pixels screen resolution. The current Kindle Fire is 1024x600 pixels, but it is not mentioned whether Kindle Fire 2 will have any other upgrades for the alleged $199 price, or just the screen...

Good for Amazon. A larger size will definitely make magazines easier to read.
