As part of Amazon Appstore's 2nd birthday celebration, the company is giving away a number of applications and games to its users. Sure, most of the titles aren't triple A offerings, but hey - free is free...

Most of them are old and useless. Weather+ sucks, Folder Organizer is already built in JB.. all others are mostly useless...

Indeed, some apps are useless, but by purchasing some of them, you do get a $1amazon credit do buy future apps/mp3s
