Amazon has chopped the price of the HTC EVO 4G in half to a mere $99.99 after being available on the market for over half a year now. The pricing isn't shabby at all when you take into consideration...

As an Evo owner, I'm sorry to see this price reduction. This means the phone is now becoming outdated. Unfortunately, in the wireless industry, this is all too common place.
This is why when I hear readers saying I will wait for this phone or that phone, I laugh. If everyone waited for that next phone, no one would purchase.
I bought the Evo because of the specs. Everything wanted on a smartphone, was incorporated for the very first time within this small piece of hardware. It was a milestone not seen since the original iPhone. Now it is soon going to be lost in the shuffle. I will however, enjoy it while it is still viable. It is an amazing device that I will miss once it is retired. Fortunately, it still keeps up with what is currently out there. Those that diss this phone, obviously haven't worked with it.
Since I don't believe in Jailbreaking or rooting, the Evo meets all the criteria without modification. I can't say that for any other phone. None!
