Pointing yet to a defined indication that we just might soon see a successor, Amazon UK has reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab in half to £359 ($571).
The 55 percent savings from its original £799.99 drops it to a level that will undoubtedly attract people since it doesn't require any contracts. Even more, its new pricing is actually for a SIM-free model of the Android powered tablet – thus enabling owners to use it on whatever network they want. Compared to the current stock of Android powered tablets on the market, the Galaxy Tab is still one of the more acceptable offerings out there.
In making the purchase even easier on the purchaser, Amazon UK is throwing in free shipping with the purchase – but as for right now, you'll have to wait until February 3rd for it to ship. Come to think of it, that's not that far away, and it'll be more than forgiving considering the huge savings you're getting.
