I have this phone as my backup phone and I must say it is very good! Never lags or slows down.
Just yesterday I completed a long drive and Nokia navigation is awesome. Hats off.

how's YouTube on the 520 and gaming? also how's build quality? thinking of selling my nexus 4 and trying something new.

Youtube works perfectly. You can try apps like metrotube, mytube.
Games run smoothly as long as they are optimized. For example, Asphalt 7 runs very smooth.
Temple run used to suck even on Lumia 920 because of poor optimization but after the optimization it runs smooth on even 520.

Build quality is fine but don't expect the build quality of high end handsets.

Useless for tmobile as the 521 variant is still $96 dollars.

Love my 521 tmobile Lumina. This phone is fast, slick and consistent.
On top of it, I have the Walmart Family ...
Can not think of a reason to get another phone.
