As long as the browser can allow users to zoom in on any area of the website then there will not be a problem of tapping an item in error.

I have the playbook and I never have this problem. Maybe the user of the fire in this case either has big fingers or maybe the Fire's touchscreen is lower quality and thus less accurate.
