The 7 inch Amazon Kindle Fire, just released last week, was mentioned during Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update and got a huge laugh when anchor Seth Meyers introduced the $199.99 device as one that should sell well among parents who "always buy the wrong thing"...

The joke was balls on accurate. Everyone who is anyone knows the iPad is the thing to have and what kids would want. It's like when I was a kid and got a magnavox odyssey 2 and everyone else had an Atari 2600.
