You can never know for sure what pricing will befall a handset until the manufacturer or carrier announces it, but with the case of the Samsung Star II, some are probably going to be surprised with the official pricing from Samsung.
Previously, it was rumored that the feature phone would be priced at around €125, but Samsung just recently announced its heftier price tag of €199 ($270) – which is a substantial hike over the previously suspected price. However, that's not going to stop Amazon Germany from slashing its price to something more fitting. Specifically, the online retailer is now offering pre-orders for the handset and is only asking a tolerable €113.5 ($154) for it.
Naturally, that's not too shabby since it's going to be available in two paint jobs starting next month. So it's best to say that you should keep your eye out on Amazon Germany if you plan on scooping up this TouchWIZ powered handset.
