Almost year old Samsung Epix to get WM 6.5 upgrade - unofficial ROMS out now

Samsung's Epix for AT&T had plenty of time getting acquainted on the carrier's lineup – almost a solid year now. For those who managed to hold on to their feature rich smartphone, they'll probably thrilled to know that Microsoft will be including the device as part of their Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade. Although October 6 is inching closer with each passing day, XDA Developers have already made available unofficial ROMS – your choice of either the 23017 or 23037 builds. As always with anything unofficial, you're going to install it at your own risk. Or you can just wait like everyone else until the big day arrives – it may be a bit after the global launch, but it's still coming sometime next month. Whatever you do, just be grateful that the Epix was included in this big hurrah.

i want my epix back : ( but not for the 6.5, i like 6.1 better : D 6.1 FTW!!! and iPhone FTW!!!
