i think this phone is very nice, but how in the world do you work the mp3, and where and how to lisen to music, it says in the book about the radio ,, whell i cant figure it out:>

I had the same hinge problem as Kim posted above, however they switched it out for free for me saying it was a manufacturer's defect. You should go back to the store if you haven't already and talked a manager.

I had to make an insurance claim o my Motorola E815 (piece of crap) because the charger port went out. It got replaced with the red LG AX8600 and now the battery dies in the middle of the night. I have to charge it throughout the day for the thing to stay on. :o(

OMG i hate this phone! it freezez on me. the screen turns white it scratches really easy, the plastic cracked at the top so it clicks when i open it, i have lines across my pictures, the battery goes fast, dont get it!!!!. i have had six different ones. 3 words piece of crap!!!

ok this phone as you can tell is a piece of crap and also when you buy a ring tone u have to buy it like six times for it to work, i would NEVER recomend i NUNCA NUNCA NUNCA!!!!

After owning six phones since 2000, this is by far one of the worst. Don't get me wrong, the design is what sold me one the phone, I only wish I had done some research prior to buying it. I would have shelled out a few more bucks to get a palm. The first week I owned this phone--August 2007--the battery did not last for a full day. Since then it has gotten better but nothing compared to the Nokia Candybar phones from a few years ago. I suggest you look elsewhere for a better phone. IMO....

I Love this phone. Possibly if you drop the phone it'll have problems. So if you've slammed it or dropped it, thats why your having problems. This is the best phone ive ever had! No problems what so ever.

I just got the Lg Ax8600 in a gorgeous glossy coat of red from alltel and i dont think I could have been any happier! The only problem I have is that the outside can get smudged very easy but after a quick wipe down with a napkin, the phone is like new again! The options are impeccable and the battery life on my Ax8600 is pretty good, I know others have had a few issues but I haven't! I guess it's because I turn my phone off at night. But anyway, I haven't regreted choosing this phone for my upgrade! It's stylish, entertaining(Mp3 & AxccessTV) andintelligent. This phone teachs other companies how a 1.3 megapixel camera should look with almost perfect photos

This is probably the worst phone i have ever had. The battery life sucks, it always has fingerprints all over it, and now after having the phone for a month is has stopped wanting to charge. I also have problems with it turning off randomly. The phone freezes when i send text messages. It is just overall a really bad phone.

I bought this phone in January, and I charge my phone every night. After making a couple shorts calls and sending a few texts, 1/2 the battery is gone in a few hours. I used to have a really cheep pink phone and i would text around 200 texts a day on it, I would charge it once every other day. I thought I was the only one with this problem, I'm glad I found this site. I wish I would have seen it before, now it's too late. I have another year with this phone!

Had phone for about a month. Phone is very limited. Only allows 6 ringtone downloads and tells you that file is too large for phone memory. Purchased Alltel Jump Music Kit to transfer music from my PC to the phone. Ringtones have to be in .qcp format (not sure why that is) Phone does not support Alltel's Site for ringtones!!! Celltop charges $2.99 per ringtone and .10 cents per min that you use it!!!! And battery life doesn't last long!!! Truly Truly Disappointed

this phone is a piece of crap and i would not recommend it to anyone. It was one of the most expensive and terrible purchases i have ever made. I have already had to get a new one and i need another one. It doesnt take a charge half of the time, sometimes the screen goes white randomly, i never have service and most of the time i should because i have to turn the phone off and then back on and i will have full service, now my mouth speakers just all of a sudden became broken even tho i didnt do anything to it. Also, whenever i have to get a new phone they wont transfer any of the ringtones i buy, so basically they are making more and more money off me because the phone is a piece of crap.

My daughter's green AX8600 from Alltel has been nothing but trouble. She is on her third phone in five months. Alltel will not replace under manufacturer's warranty. She gets very poor service and we are out of $165.00. Don't buy it.

Before we purchased this phone the salesman at ALLTEL told us they have trouble with the charger port on this phone. Teenager wanted it so bad. 60 days and $300.00 later the charger port quit working and alltel said its not covered under warranty!! Im Ticked!

I got the green ax8600 4 days ago.. and so far.. well i purchased the jump music to go with it to transfer music onto my phone, everytime i go to my music my phone just shuts off and turns back on, i havent gotten to use the mp3 player once because of it, the battery does not last i had it on for about 7 hours and it did, and also i havent been able to connect bluetooth with 3 different ppl.. 3 days after having it, i had the USB cable that hooks from my comp to the cell and it broke and i had to spend $20 on a new one cuz the guy said it was misused and abused and wasnt warranteed on that when i barely pulled it out and the whole thing just broke. when i asked him bout the mp3 he said he didnt know and to call alltel tech support. i called them and he said it must be a software and to go to a retailer to get it fixed, which i already tried. neither place had me try anything or even ask me bout it. the camera is okay, the texting is okay, and the quality of the call is okay. everything else just isnt good

Crappy I have the lg ax8600 in green and it sucks I havent had it a year yet and the camera doesnt work the text half of the time do not show up, and the video camera doesnt work

So.... I did love this phone for awhile, it used to work wonderfully. I have it in green. It was pretty amazing for awhile, it held charge, I got signal in the basement of my dorm, I had signal everywhere, which was quite the change from the razor I'd had before. I even left it in a snow pile over night and it worked great! But then about a month before I came home for the summer the hinge broke and it would click anytime I opened it, the screen goes white, the front screen will turn backwards and upside down and shake, it shuts off randomly, drops all of my calls, I never have signal in the basement of my own home (which wasn't a problem until this summer), and the front clock will not be visible and when I try to call when this problem is happening it tells me I don't have service. It has now become the worst phone I've owned. I haven't even had it for a full year. I plan on going into Alltel and getting a new phone because thankfully I have insurance. It's just become a frustrating situation because the phone was wonderful for awhile and then just got crappier and crappier as time went on. I won't say I haven't dropped it because I have, but really I had a case and a cover, you'd think it wouldn't damage it, but no no it's ruined. The hinge is completely broken so the phone falls open and I have accidentally called many people around 4 in the morning. All in all I'd have to give the advice of not getting this phone, there's nothing special about it.

I have the blue one and it deletes all of my songs, pics and videos at random or shuts off. It makes me mad. I recommend not getting this phone!
