Alltel launches LG Wave

Although it is nothing extraordinary when it comes to specifications, the Wave manages to combine decent features in most aspects in a well looking phone with normal size and reasonable price, which will probably make it a well-selling model. The CDMA carrier Alltel now offers it for $79.99 with 2-year contract which is almost half the price of the fashionable KRZR K1m which offers similar features.

The Wave by LG has 1.3-megapixel camera with video capture, MP3 player with slot for memory and external control keys and is GPS capable. As most other modern phones, it is EV-DO capable. The battery is claimed to provide up to 3 hours of talk time or almost 6 days of standby.
