The Verge has obtained two images believed to be the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy S III; unlike the Samsung Galaxy S II's differences between the international and Stateside versions, the Samsung Galaxy S III for T-Mobile looks exactly like the overseas model except for the carrier branding...

Hmmm...no 4 capacitive touch buttons...I kinda like those...wish...with international device's look they also retained specs!

I think that's wrong, it should be all capacitive buttons like the past 2 versions, in order to avoid being sued by Apple.

The white T-Mo GS3 looks more... well... white. The international looks beige compared to it. I was at least hoping they would change the screen size, make it a bit smaller, and hopefully have the quad Exynos instead of the S4... Unless the Exynos doesn't support 42 mb/s HSPA+

yeah, i don't think Samsung will be making any changes to the US variants. it's all for the sake of getting them to the US in a short amount of time.

But shouldn't they replace the physical home button with capacitive? To avoid being sued like they did with the other Galaxy devices?

From what I am hearing, The two capacitive buttons that it has are already really easy to accidentally hit with the lower palm part of your thumb. The placement of all the controls are sorta awkwardly place in my opinion. I would have much rather seen them placed higher towards the screen... Or better yet, have on-screen buttons. :P
But oh well.

I'm not worried about them being sued because of the button, but I'm more sadden because I preferred the capacitive buttons rather than a home button AND capacitive buttons on the side.
Would have been interesting to see if the carriers had different designs again. Too bad it won't be like that this time.

They better not. Why spend time suing Samsung because a phone that's better than the outdated brick than make their next iPhone better?
By rumored specs, Apple is already behind in the mobile game so that's a shame really.

they cant sue because of a center button. Samsung has been doing that longer than Apple has been in the phone game. The issue was the large center button + touchwiz looking similar to iOS. now the button is narrow and touchwiz nature doesnt look anything like iOS. They dont have a case to sue.
Well, im glad that Samsung is finally exerting its muscle and not bending to carrier stupidity when it comes to changing up the device. Now if only they would not have bent on the exynos trade out for the HSPA+ version. :)

In Chicago, my brother is averaging a good 24-26 in downloads.

Remix, the S4 is not a bad core at all. What's the beef? It has consistently benchmarked at or around the Exynos. You and I both know our company is going to pick speed over processor for the masses.
