Motorola's newly-announced RAZRs are surely devices to be reckoned with. Starting from the monstrous DROID RAZR MAXX HD, all the way to the compact, no-compromise RAZR M smartphone, it shows that Moto has done a pretty good job and is ready to face the tough competition head-on...

They are right, nothing really new to differentiate the RAZRs, except for the MAXX's battery...

Oh yeah, because if there're 2 new device that aren't plain slabs it's the Lumia 820 and 920! They're slabs with curved sides and an indistinct back plate design. Yes they're wonders of design...

if u want battery - motorola
if u want screen - samsung
if u want hardware build - htc
if u want processing power - samsung
if u want user interface - nexus
but if u want crap, go with the one that has the fruit logo ;-P

I would say for build quality Motorola qualifies as well, and the best antennas. Motorola Nexus, can I have it?

but that only goes for the top end line of moto's phones, while for htc it goes mostly for the overall line-up.

I like apple products, iphone 4's design is cool for me :D

Agreed, except displays is debatable. Some people don't like S-AMOLED. It kind of hurts my eyes, yet LCDs are just fine. Also, the S-LCD2 display on the One X is just stunning.

Haven't found HTC to be better than Motorola or Samsung IMO. I like Motos but their locked/encrypted bootloader is a dealbreaker.

If you want a phone that crashes every day - Android
If you want gps that doesn't work - Android
If you want crapware and malware - Android
If you want a phone that's obsolete in 2 months - Android
If you want to wait a year to get an update (if you're lucky) - Android
If you want a poor camera - Android
If you want Verizon/AT&T/Sprint crapware - Android
If you want a reliable phone that the company will support and has the best apps, camera, hardware and design - only Apple will do

My GS2 hasn't carshed since I got it
My GPS works just fine
That's more of the carrier's fault, and stupid people who download 3rd party apps
That's a bit of an exaggeration
That's an exaggeration, for most manufacturers that is
GS3's camera beats out the iPhone 4S, as well as Sony's
Once again, carrier's fault, not Android's.
Apple only supports it for a year, after that it gets buggy and laggy and they take away features. Android has most of the apps iOS does, all of the same quality as well (though there are some exclusives). Sony makes Apple's cameras, so yeah... The iPhone lacks in CPU power and RAM, and the design is very fragile; good looking I'll admit, but what's the point of having a good looking device if you have to put it in a thick case?
Your arguements may have been true about 2 years ago, but they aren't now. Get up to date, and then come back and comment.

Am I the only one that notices that the new Razr phones aren't even that thin?
9. tbacba (Posts: 57; Member since: 31 Mar 2010)
Yes probably. Because they are, unless you were expecting a piece of paper.

There is alot that separates the new RAZR HD from the razr. the on screen buttons are way faster for recent apps button the new colorblast screen is better than the AMOLD and wont have issues with black spots on the screen at night. The S4 processor is way better and battery will be better. The only thing the Galaxy s3 has on it is the 2gigs of ram. But Motorola will accually be able to recieve its picture messeges on time and Has a Way better interface. Also everyone fails to notice things like motocast and smart actions

That moto razr is a joke. Damn ugly thing with a snake skin and a washing machine in it. It is just another cheap plastic brick around without anything new.
18. Berzerk000 (Posts: 3878; Member since: 26 Jun 2011)
Snake skin and a washing machine? What are you even referencing? The "snakeskin" I get, you're talking about the Kevlar pattern, but washing machine? And a lot of people enjoy the Kevlar, I think it makes it look pretty badass. Also, it's not plastic or cheap. Kevlar, with polycarbonate (I think), and metal accents. It isn't exactly a brick either, it's thinner and overall smaller than most of the competition.
The hardware isn't anything new, but what's new about it is the software. Moto's UI is pretty much stock, with some added funtionality. Not only does it make it more user friendly, it allows it to have more support over the years. And, Moto promised $100 to everyone who buys one of the new Razr's if they don't get Jelly Bean out by the end of this year, which is very nice.
Why don't you get more informed about these devices before bashing them? Instead of mindlessly hating on a very respectable product.

A Washing machine? Dude, look at that camera icon. It has been a funny joke for a while already.
I know quite enough about this device, so I can say, that it doesn't have anything worth of announcement. There are good reasons why Moto has been struggling for a while already. This device is just one more reason.
Underdogs like Moto and Nokia HAS TO INVENT new stuff, or they will fail. Atleast Nokia is announcing a very cool device/s with new nice features in those phones. Shame that Googlerolla isin't.
20. Berzerk000 (Posts: 3878; Member since: 26 Jun 2011)
That's not really that funny...
And how has Moto been struggling? How are they the underdog? They aren't.
