All Sprint 4G phones prices slashed to a penny
The best way to start the month? How about all phones on Sprint slashed to just a penny? We’re not kidding here - Amazon Wireless has kicked off a huge promo offering you all of Sprint’s 4G smartphones with prices slashed to $0.01 when you purchase them with a two-year unlimited data contract.

The “Spring into Sprint” deal includes the yummy Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G and the evergreen Samsung Nexus S 4G. The offer is valid until March 26th, or while supplies last, and something tells us those premium offerings might not be sitting out long, so you might want to take action soon.

The limited-time promo also waives activation fee if you purchase a phone by March 19th. This only applies to new activations, so you’d need to jump ship to Sprint to benefit fully from the deal.

Below are the official details and a list of the discounted phones, so feel free to check them out and let us know what are you getting in the comments section.

1. Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G Android Phone (Sprint)
2. Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G Android Phone, White (Sprint)
3. HTC EVO Design 4G Android Phone (Sprint)
4. HTC EVO Shift 4G Android Phone (Sprint)
5. Samsung Nexus S 4G Android Phone (Sprint)
6. Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone (Sprint)
7. HTC EVO 3D 4G Android Phone (Sprint)
8. Motorola Photon 4G Android Phone (Sprint)
9. HTC EVO 3D 4G Android Phone, Plum (Sprint)
10. Samsung Conquer 4G Android Phone (Sprint)

For a limited time only, all Sprint 4G phones are on sale for just a penny (new activations only) with truly unlimited data for $79.99 (Everything Data 450 for $69.99/month andPremium Data for $10.00/month) and waived-activation fee. New activation includes a new individual account, a new family account, or a new line to an existing account. The promotion does not include upgrades or contract extensions. For upgrading an existing line of service, prices may vary. See frequently asked questions for more details about ordering on AmazonWireless. Offer valid between midnight PDT March 12, 2012 through 11:59 p.m. PDT March 26, 2012, while supplies last.

Not that bad

2. remixfa posted on 12 Mar 2012, 08:27 2 10

wanna make a quick buck... get the phone, break the contract and sell the phone for 350-450.

3. twenti7 posted on 12 Mar 2012, 08:34 8

Actually Amazon will charge you the full retail price of the phone if you break the contract before a certain amount of time. I believe it's 6 months, but I could be mistaken.

Etf is $350 so that does not work. People like you are the reason for that insanely high ETF too

7. remixfa posted on 12 Mar 2012, 09:13 2 9

oh yea, i forgot amazon threw on their own ETF. people like me huh? lol.

20. twenti7 posted on 12 Mar 2012, 13:52 3

Yes, people exactly like you. You know, with a head, shoulders, arms, legs, and a body. People like you make me sick!

23. lsutigers posted on 12 Mar 2012, 15:54 2

Agreed, this is a really dumb comment. Some people think big companies like Sprint are unaffected by this sort of scam, look at the big 4, they all took a hit last quarter due to subsidies and like twenti7 said, people like you are a big part of it.

25. JunitoNH posted on 12 Mar 2012, 16:27 1

I don't agree with this sort of scam. I don't even own a smartphone. Having said that, if you don't get them, they certainly will get you. Example, why in 2012 you still have to count your minutes? why the heck people still have to pay for text? why can't I purchase a smartphone without a data plan? when all the carriers do is complain about the amount of spectrum and on and on.

29. miles16852 posted on 14 Mar 2012, 20:17 1

JunitoNH, you are SOOO right! and the cell companies have been scamming us consumers for so long! your right about the watching of minutes, txt, etc, even if people did not do what remixfa sugessted, don't worry the cell companies will still scam us consumers! and we all know it!

Of course i bought my epic 4g touch last week for 50 bucks and now i can get it for a penny.

o well. this is a great deal. and like remixfa said you can make some money off of it too.

I bet a majority of Sprint buyers will buy the Epic Touch 4G devices. But I wouldn't get any of those phones, even if it was just free, simply because I am not going to be locked into a 2 year contract with a WiMax 4G phone when Sprint is going to LTE this year...

8. remixfa posted on 12 Mar 2012, 09:14 1 6

sprint isnt going to LTE this year, and even on the off chance they actually got LTE publicly running and had an LTE phone out, its going to be on so few cities that u would have to be in NY, LA or Seattle to have the best chance of getting sprint-LTE this year. Their partner for LTE, lightsquared, is all but belly up and clear wire isnt doing much better

9. kshell1 posted on 12 Mar 2012, 09:21 2

im perfectly set with tmobile at the moment.

12. squallz506 posted on 12 Mar 2012, 11:44 1

me too.

cant wait till i can add unlimited mobile to mobile to my plan.

$40/mo=unlimited mobile to mobile+5Gb 10mbps data+unlimited txt+no contract+100 landline minutes

Sprint has also made a public statement saying they will continue to support WiMax for at least 3 more years. Whether that happens or not is another thing but the statement has been made.

15. theBankRobber posted on 12 Mar 2012, 13:10 2

Sprint is already sending out emails for the Galaxy nexus with LTE. Calling it the 1st LTE 4G phone and they have a sweep states to enter through April to win one of 30 GN's.

18. EclipseGSX posted on 12 Mar 2012, 13:31 1

they are in Dallas, Atlanta, Houston and San Antonio, They will also release three 4G LTE devices the Galaxy Nexus, LG Viper and Sierra Wireless Tri-Network Hotspot. Heres the article -http://newsroom.sprint.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=2157

Hey, Mr. Know-it-all, Sprint already has live LTE in some cities and is actively working in their first round of Network Vision / LTE markets. Unfortunately, there are no devices using it at the moment but saying "Sprint isnt going LTE this year" shows how clueless you are. Not only is Sprint adding LTE, they are upgrading their entire voice and 3G network with state of the art equipment. Check your facts on www.s4gru.com before you speak.

@remixfa

No idea where you got your info but sprint is launching their own LTE network running off their 1900 MHz frequency (and eventually off their 800 MHz frequency once the Nextel network is fully decommissioned). They where going to host lightsquareds network off their towers in exchange for roaming agreements. Maybe do some research regarding sprints Network Vision roll out before making claims like that. I work in the wireless industry and Sprint is doing a whole revamp of their network. I already know that my market is receiving the Network Vision upgrades quietly as its supposed to be one of the cities to go live sometime between July-September perhaps even earlier depending how efficiently the contractors replace the towers and basestations.

nice story bro.

14. Jyakotu posted on 12 Mar 2012, 12:35

Sad that out of all those phones, only two have a physical keyboard. WiMax isn't really fast in my area either. -_- Not only that, I can't upgrade until September, but hopefully Sprint will have better phones by then. However, my family is getting kind of fed up with Sprint, so we're shopping around for something different.

16. theBankRobber posted on 12 Mar 2012, 13:12 1

Good way to clean out all those wimax phones for the upcoming LTE phones. :)

19. EclipseGSX posted on 12 Mar 2012, 13:39 1

Too bad its new customers only :(

17. Yankchef posted on 12 Mar 2012, 13:26

Yea clearing out old devices. Sprint hasnt released a new high end handset in 6 months .... i mean wow makes me feel good about my photon purchase 2 days after it was released but still thats weak

26. Cwebb posted on 12 Mar 2012, 16:30

I know, I bought an Evo and launch day and there hasn't really been anything better. Its sad, but its preventing me from out-roaming my contract and buying a new phone

27. Yankchef posted on 12 Mar 2012, 17:18

I mean i would say that the photon and epic touch are significantly better than evo4g and people seem to have mixed opinions on the 3vo. But yea sprint is slacking on the phones. Compared to pretty much everyone else. On the other hand at least its not verizon where devices are outdated every month

28. Cwebb posted on 12 Mar 2012, 18:56

Yea, it depends on how you look at it with the amount of phones. But the 3vo is definitely as good as the Photon, sacrificing 3MP's on the camera for 3D and a higher clock speed

All that I really care about is that Sprint & HTC come out with another phone with a physical keyboard, 4+ in screen (a resolution higher than 480x800), and LTE by next Feb or sometime shortly after next Feb. If they don't, I might jump ship to Verizon and get an LTE device from them.
