Alcatel outs One Touch Scribe Easy, a 5-incher with a stylus and MagicFlip cover

Alcatel announced new addition to the Scribe family with the One Touch Scribe Easy, calling it the "perfect canvass for capturing flashes of genius on the move – it’s super-responsive, fast, and comes with a handy touch pen to scribble directly on the screen."  You can also handwrite on the screen, so it is great for writing notes.

The magnetic MagicFlip is a cover that serves both purposes - carrying the stylus, and protecting the screen from scratches. Oh, wait, it also colors the phone in Flash Red, Fresh Blue, and Flash Yellow.

There's a 5" display with paltry WVGA resolution, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory plus microSD slot, and a 5 MP camera on the back. 

The One Touch Scribe Easy runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and comes with dedicated creative apps – "Scribe note for note taking and sketching, including handy handwriting recognition; Montage movie maker app – record, cut, add a soundtrack and become an instant star." Price and availability will be announced at a later date.
