Alcatel One Touch Hero Hands-on

0. phoneArena 06 Sep 2013, 04:18 posted on

Alcatel enters the phablet fray with the One Touch Hero, and when we examined the handset plus the accompanying accessories, the phone fully deserves its title. It is huge, with a bright and vivid 6" Full HD display, yet thanks to the minimized bezel all around, it is fairly manageable, though one-handed operation is a full stretch. Alcatel has provided the usual interface enhancements for one-handed operation, like shrinking the dialer or keyboard to the left or right on the screen, so you can tap with your thumb only, but it is still uncomfortable to use this way...

this looks like nexus 4 front screen, gs3 back design with htc one x plastic feel note size screen and stylus.
honestly this is alot better than alot of other phones sold by famous brands.

Nice tiny bezels! :)

And there is no need to talk crap that if you want to have a tiny bezels you have to put all buttons on the back like LG did with LG G2, because it is just an excuse and not true.

First it was LG... now Alcatel... gee everybody complaint about Samsung's Galaxy S4 design, but competition is basing their designs on it! I really like this phablet tough, but what I really don't understand is why PhoneArena is already complaining about its Mediatek chipset when this is still a pre-production unit! I don't get reviewers these days...

This phone is just proof that any manufacturer has the capacity to make a well designed phone. Even the underrated companies are surpassing apple.

Very nice, loving the slim bezels, doesn't even look like a 6" screened phone.
