According to DigiTimes, Foxconn will be building Amazon's 10.1 inch tablet and could be shipping it out sometime before the end of the year; although Foxconn has historically put the nuts and bolts of Kindle devices together, Amazon went with Quanta to build the Kindle Fire after Foxconn passed on the job...

I expect to see mass bashing of amazon by fandroids. After all they have horrible working conditions. Oh wait it's not Apple so it's fine.

Boo! Yet another American product, made by an American company, that will not create any American jobs. Not to mention, this just keeps Foxconn in the business of treat people less than human. It seems like the worst they treat their employees, the more business American companies give them. Not hating on China, but damn! We need jobs here, and I thought that's what all those tax cuts were supposed to do? Create jobs! Second thought, I guess they are creating jobs. Just not here!

Tax cuts just keep money in rich people's pockets. They've created zero jobs in the last 10 years or so we've had them.

Maybe tax cuts on small business would help.

maybe if we had a president who knew something about business that would really help our country out…

but seriously jobs are not the only thing an economy needs… i personally think amazon is helping the economy by stimulating the market and (hopefully) bringing in money from europe and asia…

and tax cuts are bs… somehow we have all these "tax cuts", but then theres a brand new bill with a new tax… and i maybe if the government focused on other stuff besides for taxing the rich, they cud find a good solution! taxes are good in moderation, but they dont help the economy if the money doesnt go towards helping the economy…

The republicans wanted it, the president agreed to it. That makes both parties negligent in their duties to do what's right for the ENTIRE country. I'm not picking on one side or the other because they're both in the pockets of "Big Business". It doesn't make sense for me to pay 30 plus percent, while Donald Trump pays 15-20%.

You make a good point about the possibility of bringing more revenue into the US, but money never trickles down. It always manages to stay at the top like beer foam and floaters!

Working at Foxconn and dealing directly with the Amazon team, I can tell you honestly that the people from Amazon's china team are s**tty. Honestly, I haven't dealt with any customer as bad as these people throughout my career. They demand that our employees work 7 day shifts just to meet their orders. They're much much worse than apple's employees and think that they're the best company in the world.
