Thanks for proving what I've had to repeatedly say since they announced the worker layoffs and no more future versions. Flash isnt dead, its just not getting new features.

is not dead but neither is Symbian... and I dont see people flocking to buy a Symbian phone
4. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5691; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
Symbian doesn't stand between me and watching Bleach on my Phone. ;P
5. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
it was used as an example.... i will put in a disclaimer for people like you... sorry...

gallito, like normal you are picking 2 different subjects.
Flash is a standard used by nearly all websites. Its still being used, and will still be used in the foreseeable future.
Symbian is a system that has been dying for a long time
lol, i guess no matter how many times its explained to you, ya just cant grasp it. Oh well.
7. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5691; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
i was telling you how important Flash is. Symbian is no example at all next to the importance of Flash in the here and now.

Ok I will go kindergarten on both of you... flash is not dead... ok. but will not be a feature that will sell phones like once did...when I compared it to Symbian is because Symbian is also not dead... but will not be supported in the future... the are similarities.. but since fandroids are too sensitive lately we can do comparisions..to recap.. I only used Symbian example as it was also not going to be supported anymore.. but by any means. is dead.. please get rid of that word... flash is not dead and neither is Symbian..... better now?
9. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5691; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
why did you even say anything then? you just wanted to say \"oh it\'s just like Symbian so i guess people won\'t want it anymore.\" we\'re saying we definitely want Flash. that hasn\'t changed because Adobe has changed their minds on it. the web is still full of Flash content and we need Flash Player to be able to access it. that\'s not like Symbian at all, no one cares if it dies.

19. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)

oi.. i need a translator for u.
ok.. umm.. so.. symbian is dead.. but its not??
not really sure what your saying so im just going to try to.. expand..
symbian is dying. symbian was put to a nice hospice to live out its last few days as it is slowly being taken off line. for all intensive purposes, in the mobile world, it might as well be dead because nokia has made its last few years of support irrelevant to most people.
Flash is nowhere near dead. Flash is thriving and growing and still adding new features all the time. It is the prime media source on the internet now and for the relative future. Adobe didnt kill mobile flash, they simply said they werent adding new features to it, and thus didnt need all those employees to do bug fixes. Its still in every android phone and blackbery QNX is still going to use it. Between RIM and android, thats the vast majority of the smartphone market. And thanks mostly to android, that flash enabled market share is GROWING.
So if anything, mobile flash is THRIVING.. with or without new features. Those that keep saying steve jobs/apple won some big mysterious battle against Flash aren't actually paying attention to what is going on.
One day HTML5 will be the main standard on the internet. It has to first become a standard, which that hasnt even happened yet. Then it has to be adopted and flash content has to be converted, which is going to take years if not the better part of the decade.
Android supports flash and HTML5. If there was a "winner" between apple and flash/android, its most definately android. Android isnt waiting for the next standard. It uses today's standard and is compatable with tomorrows.

Remixfa that was an excellent explanation. I don't understand how you will spend your time trying to reasoning with gallitoking that no mater what you say, he won't acknowledge anything. He is the kind of person that think they always are right and that they never are wrong. With this kind of person I never waste my time.
18. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
thats exactly what I said.... he keeps on questioning me.. I dont want to explain myself... I dont have to.. an d I dont want to....
20. ElectroManiac (Posts: 47; Member since: 29 Sep 2011)
You clearly didn't understand my post gallito.
Well english is my second language so I probably didn't explain myself well
What I mean that he shouldn't spend his time with you because you are a blind fanboy that no mater how wrong you are, and people prove it to you, you always going to think and say that you are right.
In order word, you are way too stubborn to be spending time with you.
There is no gain to it.
21. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
and clearly you didnt read mine... he started questioning me... not me....and yes he should listen to you... I respect your opinion.. hope you respect mine... get a clue....
23. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
thanks for the positive responses guys. :)
gallito, we have a very very very hard time understanding you sometimes. would it be so much to ask for a little semblance of proper punctuation?
"... he started questioning me... not me.. and yes he should listen to you"?
what does that mean?
not trying to be an ass... im trying to decipher you so maybe next time we agree, i wont think we are disagreeing. so then i wont feel an explanation needs to be made.

He is a big fan of the ellipsis lol... ... ... . ... .. Its to symbolize a train of thought so if you look at it that way its him pausing after each one. Read it aloud its kind of funny.
27. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
Is a long story why i write the way i do.. not going to talk about ...in a ..cellphone site.... i alreade stated.. i am missing fingers... and is easier for me o do it this way... so... wont go any further...
29. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
so its easier for you to type 3 periods in a row, instead of just 1? uh huh.
28. remixfa (Posts: 14255; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
yea, its a bad shatner impersonation. i read everyone's posts aloud in my head.. lol
30. Jobes (Posts: 364; Member since: 27 Oct 2011)
There's..... Something on the wing...... Some... Thing.... I use one finger.. To... Swype via phone. And typing an ellipsis only seems like it would be more effort than just hitting spacebar or one periods eh?
32. gallitoking (Posts: 4718; Member since: 17 May 2011)
