I really don't see the problem here, I loved MeeGo but it was dead before the N9 was even released. Basically, this is a good thing since this OS seemingly has a future and has the popular messaging platform the BlackBerry messenger.

it's so smart of RIM to get the idea and function of MeeGo.. since it didnt work for NOKIA (bec it was too late), RIM got the idea and is very optimistic about the future using this kind of interface for their next OS.. Keep it up RIM! this is best matched with BlackBerry's function rather than NOKIA..

I would deff get this BlackBerry if they released it, not a physical keyboard guy. Not since my Palm Treo 650 days but im waiting for the RIM stole from ( insert your favorite brand here ) comments. Instead of looking at cell phones like we do video games and cars and every invention ever made as improvements, Cell phones are the only items in court rooms about someone copied from them instead of it being better improvement.

everyone takes from everybody jeez. shut up about the stealing comments people. apple stole from samsung as much as samsung stole from apple. apple stole from windows as much as ........blackberry, nokia, lg, microsoft.....

either way i look forward to blackberry's closed os. blackberry is definitely much more secure over apple and google and i am uncertain why the gov would transitition to google and apple products when the security is easily defeatable.

I don't know?? Its UI reminds me very much of Motorola's MotorBlur The feel and styling of the widgets give it that Motorola Droid look.
